Sooz creates highly detailed, original dolls. She begins with sculpture in earth clay and pours multi-part moulds in plaster. She uses the moulds to cast porcelain greenware, which she then low-fires, refines, high-fires, and finally paints and refires as necessary.

She employs movable armatures to attach the head, torso, hands and feet. She installs fine glass eyes in the heads and attaches mohair wigs that she creates herself. Finally, she sews garments for her dolls using exquisite fabrics and beautiful stitching. For some of her dolls, she also makes detailed accessories from various materials.
